Restore Great Lakes Forest

Forests currently blanket 67 percent of Ontario’s territory—a land area equivalent in size to Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands combined.
On this land currently stands 85 billion trees, 17 percent of the total forest found in Canada. Ontario’s beautiful forests are facing pressure from two sides: aggressive agricultural development and hostile natural resources extraction.
WePlant’s efforts there will help Ontario restore its native beauty and, at the same time, contribute heavily to Canada’s carbon budget.
